Our Story

Our Story

How We Met:

In early 2024, after the Calvary Lighthouse Church "Road 2 Glory" conference, Joshua set out on a mission trip to partner with a youth movement called "The Send," which was happening in Nashville. With a heart full of passion and a gospel truck in tow, he toured the city, spreading the love of Jesus through evangelism.

During this journey, one of The Send's teams that Joshua was working with began sharing their testimonies. Among them was a young woman named Glory. It was in this genuine moment of sharing that Joshua captured a photo of Glory as she passionately shared her story. That same night, a US war veteran, struggling with his past, fell to his knees in front of Glory, crying out to the Lord and repenting for his sins. This powerful, spirit-filled encounter marked the beginning of our incredible journey together.

A Season of Growth:

As the year progressed, Glory moved up to Chicago on a mission and to partner with Calvary Lighthouse Church as an intern. It was a time filled with new opportunities and exciting projects as we worked side by side in ministry. This season has been a beautiful period of growth for both of us, deepening our faith and strengthening our bond. We learned so much from each other and from the Lord, and it only made our connection stronger.

The Proposal

At the end of the summer, during the final night of the Cornfield Tent Revival, Joshua and Glory sang one last song together, a special piece they had written called "Pray for America, America Look Beautiful." It was a moment filled with worship, love, and anticipation.

As the song concluded, Joshua stepped forward, looked into Glory's eyes, and asked the most important question of his life: "Glory, will you marry me?" With a big smile and a joyful heart, Glory exclaimed, "Well, of course!" And just like that, the rest is history!

Our Mission

Our Mission Work and Future Plans:

Continuing Our Journey at Calvary Lighthouse Church

We are so grateful to be continuing our journey at Calvary Lighthouse Church under the loving guidance of Joshua’s parents, Dr. James and Michelle Horvath. This church has been our home and a place where we've experienced significant spiritual growth. We’re excited to stay involved in outreach and discipleship, sharing the gospel and bringing hope to our community.

We’re also excited about the opportunity to work with Lou Engle's Contend Global Prayer Ministry. This partnership has opened doors for us to be part of a prayer strike leading up to our wedding, which we feel is a crucial time for seeking God’s direction and aligning ourselves with His plans. Through this, we hope to deepen our commitment to prayer and actively engage in what God is doing in our region and beyond.

As we prepare for our wedding, we have felt a strong calling to create music that reflects our heart for God and our journey together. We are inspired by the theme of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and feel deeply moved to write songs that celebrate this divine union and the anticipation of our soon-coming King.

Partnering together with heaven, we seek to express our love for Jesus and our longing for His return through music. This creative process has become a beautiful way for us to worship together, share our faith, and invite others to join in this anticipation and hope.

We hope that this music will not only enrich our wedding celebration but also inspire others to draw closer to God and reflect on the joy of being in His presence. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us!

The Note Coffee Cart: Evangelism on Wheels

Untitled design (68).png

Over the summer, we had the exciting opportunity to soft launch and test run our new business venture, The Note Coffee Co., a mobile coffee cart operation. We debuted our coffee cart at the Tent Revival in Clinton, Iowa, and the Cornfield Tent Revival, where we served delicious coffee while sharing the love of Jesus.

Our vision for The Note Coffee Co. is to blend our love for coffee with our passion for evangelism. We plan to set up pop-up worship events around the area, offering free coffee and popcorn while sharing the gospel with those we meet. Through this unique approach, we hope to create welcoming spaces where people can experience the love of God, engage in meaningful conversations, and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
